There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. If more than one answer is provided, it is classified as wrong. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
Kannada Language Paper
Candidates who have studied Kannada as their first or second language up to SSLC or higher level or by degree/diploma course or who have already passed the Kannada language test offered by competent authorities are exempted from the separate Kannada Language Test.
Other candidates have to qualify in the obligatory Kannada language paper.

Marks obtained in this paper will not be considered for merit ranking.
